Your Favourite Tree
Art Competition

TreeLink Stirling’s Tree Art Competition

Share your words and images about your favourite tree

Trees are beautiful.   They can inspire and be thought provoking.  Many are older than us and have been witness to events that we have only read about.

We would love to know about Your Favourite Tree.

The TreeLink Stirling Art Competition is free to enter and open to everyone.

Competition entries can include: photographs, drawings, paintings, sewing, crafts or any other artistic representation of Your Favourite Tree.

Subject of all entries must be trees within the Stirling Council area.

The winning entries will be displayed at the TreeLink Stirling Autumn Gathering on the 26th October 2024 in Made In Stirling from 10am - 12pm.  Each winner will receive tree!

How it works

All entries must be submitted via TreeLink Stirling Art Competition Flickr group.  Need help with Flickr?  Click here.

Entrants must include within the image description their name, their email address and the location of the tree that is the subject of their entry.

If you are submitting a drawing, craft work, etc please take a digital photograph and submit the entry the TreeLink Stirling Art Competition Flickr group.

Entrants can submit a maximum of 3 entries, only 1 prize will be awarded per entrant.

If a child under the age of 18 on the closing date wishes to enter, they must have the consent of a parent or guardian above the age of 18. When submitting an entry, entrants under the age of 18 must check the relevant box, by doing so we will assume your parent’s/guardian’s permission has been given.

The closing date for entries is 23:59pm on 31st August 2024. Entries received after this date will not be included in the competition.

Twelve winning entries will be selected.

The winning entries will be displayed at the TreeLink Stirling autumn gathering, a public event, either as the digital copy, or using the original piece of art work, depending on the entrants wishes.

Where an original piece is displayed the entrant must be in agreement that TreeLink Stirling will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur to the original piece.

A photograph of the entry will feature on the TreeLink Stirling website and newsletters.

Each winner will receive a native tree to plant in your garden or other location - assistance from TreeLink Stirling will be available if requested.

We look forward to seeing your entries.
