Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us.

Treelink, Stirling is a charity who endeavours to connect people to trees by growing, planting, caring and speaking up for trees in the Stirling Council area.

Trees are our passion and we invite you to join us as we work towards our goals.

Find below everything you need to know about volunteering with us.

Who are we?

Treelink currently has eight trustees who regularly attend volunteer sessions - you can find out more about everyone here.  Alison looks after the tree nursery, Ann is overseeing the Abbey Craig project and Robin is our volunteer support.

When do we meet?

There are monthly volunteer sessions in the Tree Nursery, which is situated within the wonderful Braehead Community Garden.  Our volunteer work changes as our projects evolve and the seasons change.

How do I find out about events?

You can keep an eye on our Events Page, we have a Whatsapp Group and you can sign up for our volunteer emails straight to your Inbox.

What do I need to know?

There is no experience necessary when joining, however we do undertake physical activities that range from light weeding to heavier digging. We encourage you to chose what jobs suit your abilities – please chat with us if you have any concerns or questions.

You can find our Health and Safety Policy here.

What do I need to bring?

We work outdoors, and occasionally in adverse weather conditions so would recommend suitable footwear and gardening clothes.

We will be in touch before each session to give information on what equipment may be needed - we are very fortunate that Braehead Community Garden supplies tools for communal use.

We have a break for a chat and a cuppa each session so a drink and a snack is a good idea - though we do bring cake!
