About the event

The Himalayan balsam is about to bloom and we are making a big push to remove as much as we can and are looking for volunteers to come along. Himalayan Balsam is an invasive non-native plant species which shades out and crowds out many native plants. This woodland is very special, and we want to keep it that way

It’s a very easy and enjoyable activity, sitting in a woodland listening to bird song and bathing in the woodland glory! We made huge progress last year and it’s obvious that pulling it up works!

This session is earlier than our past events - a 9.15am arrival for a 9.30am start. There will be break at 10.45am and the session will finish at 12.30pm.

Meet at Park Drive, Bannockburn
